Fill the page solves for the spacing that lands the content on the footer instead of leaving the bottom half of the sheet empty. It works with every layout, and the Full page layout turns it on with every section the data supports.

Every period is generated from the cycle, so the dates, the pay date and the “period N of M” line always agree with each other. Year-to-date figures accumulate down the run — including Social Security stopping when the wage base is reached.

Every period below can be edited on its own. Change the hours for one week, add a bonus to another, and the gross, the tax and every year-to-date figure after it recalculate down the whole run.

Hourly lines multiply hours × rate × multiplier. Overtime is 1.5, double time 2. A fixed line is a salary, a bonus or a commission.

The three exemption boxes do not move together and that matters: a 401(k) is exempt from income tax but not from Social Security and Medicare, while a Section 125 health premium is exempt from all three. Getting this wrong is the usual way a stub's FICA ends up not matching its gross.
